Not to be confused with the research field of CSI Crime Scene Investigation, CSI Mining & Equipment is a Mining Contracting company. However, despite the two callings being on opposed ends of the spectrum, the services CSI provides can be considered just as fascinating, complex, and challenging as being a forensic investigator-If we do say so ourselves.

Chaleur Shotcrete Mining & Engineering is a reconstructed mining contracting company as of January 2013, now titled CSI Mining & Equipment. CSI owns many pieces of underground mining equipment to complete construction and development work. The company also rebuilds and restores mining equipment for use and or for sale. The contractors have done work for various major mining companies such as Xstrata Zinc, Breakwater Resources, Bioteq, Blue Note Mining, Stantec, and Maple Minerals. Now CSI is working with Trevali Mining at their Caribou Site, as well as Dufferin Mine in their start up.

The Mining Contractors have come a long way from only owning one shotecreting pump in 1999, to now owning numerous pieces of mining and shotcreting equipment in 2013.
